The Project Manager, Professional Services is responsible for leading and managing the successful execution of client-facing projects from initiation to completion. This includes overseeing project planning, delivery, resource management, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as consultants, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist in the creation and management of project plans, schedules, and timelines for client projects.
* Daily project management throughout the project life cycle
* Assist with the development of project plans, including milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Assist with creation of documentation with information obtained during Project Intro and Kick off meetings and work with the implementation staff and customers to develop project plan using current forms and tools
* Facilitate regular meetings with clients to review project status, address concerns, and gather feedback.
* Ensure that project deliverables align with the client's objectives and provide value.
* Assist in identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, ensuring that potential issues are escalated in a timely manner.
* Help monitor the project's progress against milestones and deadlines, flagging any concerns to the project manager.Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and that clients are kept informed of project status.
* Ensure all project deliverables meet the quality standards set by both the client and company.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and status reports.
* Manage the project using all the features in Salesforce as needed to include Activities, Risks, Milestones and Tasks and ensure all fields are complete and accurate
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Software Development, Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience
* Four (4)+ years of experience as a project manager or similar role preferably in healthcare or software development.
* PMP Certification preferred Proven
* Experience with Project Methodologies and Tools
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
* Experience with project management methodologies and tools
* Ability to manage and deliver complex client-facing projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
* Knowledge of business analysis and change management principles.
* Strong capability to adapt and thrive in change
* Self-Driven with ability to thrive without structure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
* Previous healthcare experience preferred
* Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
* Lead the planning and execution of multiple client projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
* Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution
* Track team progress and provide guidance or support to resolve roadblocks.
* Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines
* Facilitate collaboration to meet deadlines.
* Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
* Proactively monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
* Handle project-related issues or escalations and work proactively to resolve
* Coordinate the efforts of internal teams, ensuring that the right resources are assigned to the right tasks
* Document all time in salesforce and approve timecards and expense reports daily within the designated deadlines
Work Environment/Physical Demands
* While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
* This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
* This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others' work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
* The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
