Responsibilities
The Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for supporting automation and controls projects across the plant, focusing on improving equipment performance, reliability, and process efficiency:
Lead and support technical projects, including equipment installation and process improvements
Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems (Mitsubishi & Allen Bradley preferred)
Design and review control panels, electrical schematics, and power distribution plans
Interface with maintenance, engineering, suppliers, and contractors
Apply structured problem-solving methods (Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen) to improve system reliability
Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of hands-on PLC/HMI programming experience
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, robotics (Fanuc, Yaskawa), and electrical standards
