This position will assist individuals in our Residential IDD Program under the 6400 Regulatory Compliance.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver’s License
Previous experience supervising staff who work directly with people with developmental disabilities
Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
Educational requirements: Minimum: Associates Degree or 60 Credit hours and 4 years experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
Summary of Role:
Supervise and direct the work of the Program Coordinators and Direct Support Staff to include the following:
Maintain a caseload of no more than 30 individuals
Complete all required paperwork for the applicable regulations for all assigned Residents
Attend monthly Waiver monitoring meetings and complete follow up actions for Waiver monitoring issue forms
Provide needed documents to the Supports Coordinator upon request and in preparation for the annual ISP review meeting
Function as the initial point of contact for Supports Coordinators and external provider agencies
Visit all homes on the caseload a minimum of twice per month. More visits will be necessary if individuals are in crisis, new to programming, or have increased training needs
Attend all ISP meetings, complete all needed paperwork and submit to the Supports Coordinator prior to the annual ISP Review Meeting
Participate in SIS Assessments, HCQU CDC, IM4Q Reviews and similar assignments
Ensure the Resident’s home is a safe, functional living space to meet their needs per the ISP and in accordance with applicable regulations
Ensure Resident participation in day programming, employment, and a meaningful day
Responsible for compliance and tracking for all medical appointments and corresponding follow up
Complete HRST at least annually and update as needed in conjunction with Nursing
Participate in On-call responsibilities as assigned
Mentor and provide ongoing feedback and indicate areas of improvement regarding job performance.
Complete accurate and timely employee performance evaluations prior to the due date.
Develop annual outcomes based on consumer preferences and aspirations and ensure these are updated in the EMR (Setworks) or similar databases
Create and update house books for all assigned Residents and ensure all needed information is uploaded into (EMR) Setworks or similar databases
Work in conjunction with Referral Team on coordination with pending placements, as well as with the families and other Stakeholders
Review all ISPs for assigned Residents to ensure accuracy and provide documented discrepancies to the Supports Coordinator
Monitor and ensure training compliance for employees
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Review on call notes and incidents submitted for caseload
Monitor consumer balances to ensure benefits/waiver is maintained. Submit spend down requests as needed. Ensure consumer inventory is updated to reflect large purchases or disposals are completed
Prepare and maintain all required licensing files throughout the year for each resident in preparation for annual licensing and follow up with Program Coordinator/Assistant Program Coordinator for needed items
Coordinate completion of Quarterly Licensing Inspection summaries
Train Program Coordinators, Assistant Program Coordinators, and Residential Specialists on Licensing Documents on an ongoing basis
Work in ratio as needed, maintain all trainings to remain in compliance
Draft and update Behavior Support Plans/Restrictive Procedure Plans as needed (if not completed by PDCS)
Work in conjunction with Program Coordinators and Assistant Program Coordinators if a crisis arises in the home related to the individuals
Provide information from ISP/BSP/RPP/SNAP audits to appropriate parties as needed; updated SNAP as needed
Enter incidents into HALO or similar database system and ensure completion in accordance with established timeframes
Promote residents, staff, and company in a positive manner to neighbors, doctors, families, and the public at large
Certifications/proficiency in trainings as required by caseload
Responsible for the completion of first or second reviews of investigations as part of the Investigation Review panel
Submit maintenance requests for any issues identified during site visits/audits
Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance
