The Production Supervisor ensures the Production Operations meet quality standards, productivity targets, and safety regulations. You will manage a team of employees and collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibility:
- Manage and supervise the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and work instructions to ensure timely and efficient production output.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and performance indicators.
- Optimize production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity using lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Quality, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and improve workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Inventory team on discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment and demonstrating a strong commitment to the workplace health and safety.
- Analyze production data, such as production reports and performance metrics, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and labor, to ensure production targets are met.
- Maintain documentation of production activities, including records of outputs, downtime, and employee performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to manufacturing and production processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and technical capabilities
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
