Processing Operator

QPS Employment Group has a great Processing Operator position available at a company in Albert Lea, MN. This is a 1st shift, temporary position. Processing Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: Accurately and safely follow procedures to set-up, peel, sort, inspect, and cook potatoes. Accurately and safely follow procedures to set-up, inspect, and process cabbage. Dump cabbage heads into the hopper and prepare them by removing cores and outer leaves before shredding. Use machinery to remove excess water from shredded cabbage. Perform visual quality inspections on potatoes, removing defective items. Weigh and fill trays with diced potatoes; transfer cooked potatoes into storage bins, record temperature, and move them to the cooler. Prepare salad ingredients following recipes, ensure proper mixing, and portion salads accurately. Secure lids on salad containers and pack sealed containers into boxes. Follow cleaning procedures for vegetables to maintain sanitation standards. Repetitively lift 50lb boxes, stand, bend, and perform manual motions over long shifts. Processing Operator Requirements: Proven track record of several years of solid work history, with detailed work experience provided on the resume. Accurate counting and reading skills. Ability to work at a steady pace for the entire shift. Ability to work in hot environments. Flexibility with hours and a positive attitude. Team-oriented mindset.
