As a RN Student Nurse Extern in the Oncology Unit, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting in high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Assist nursing staff in performing direct and indirect patient care. Help implement care plans based on assessments and ongoing patient information. Facilitate patient mobility and perform basic patient care tasks. Communicate clearly with patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans. Educate patients and families about post-discharge health management, including nutrition and lifestyle changes. Qualifications: Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited nursing school. Completion of at least one year of nursing education is preferred.
