Job Summary As a PRN Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care, conduct nursing assessments, assist with examinations and treatments, and engage in patient education while maintaining accurate medical records. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing Certified in Basic Life Support Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements Experience/Knowledge/Skills: A minimum of two (2) years of Clinical RN experience. Principal Accountabilities Deliver safe and appropriate care to patients tailored to their unique needs. Coordinate nursing care planning with an interdisciplinary team and make informed clinical decisions. Collaborate and delegate tasks within the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes based on data and evidence. Develop and implement treatment and discharge plans effectively. Engage in ongoing evaluation of programs and processes to improve client-centered outcomes. Address and respect the diverse needs of each patient throughout their care continuum. Adhere to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards. Perform additional duties as assigned, aligning with your clinical competencies. Ensure safety for patients, staff, and visitors and adhere to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and budgetary guidelines. Promote professional growth by fulfilling continuing education requirements, supporting departmental goals, and mentoring less experienced staff.
