We are looking for a Certified Respiratory Therapist who is dedicated to patient care to join our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental needs and the required standards of practice. This vital role involves performing diagnostic tests, monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation, and delivering therapeutic procedures. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway management. Administer respiratory therapies like oxygen delivery and inhalation medications. Assist in placing artificial airways and managing mechanical ventilation. Monitor patients' responses to treatments and notify providers of any issues. Support safe transportation for patients reliant on ventilators. Respond to emergency situations by ensuring airway management and adequate ventilation. Qualifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. PALS certification within 30 days of hire. STABLE certification within 30 days of hire. Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential. Associate Degree in relevant field.
