Summary

The person selected for this position must be professionally prepared as a teacher of your children, especially in the fired of Early Childhood. This person must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate both children and adults. This person must have the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity.

Duties

Planing, supervising and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the age and abilities of the children and the policies of the Blue Giraffe. Being responsible for the ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, cleanliness and learning environment of the classroom. Supervising the assistant(s) assigned to your room. Attending faculty meetings and in-service programs. Providing a safe and healthy environment for the children in your care. Helping with special programs and/or open house and remaining flexible in order to respond to other duties for the good of the center. Maintaining professional attitudes and loyalty to the center.

Requirements

CDA - Completed or in Progress Associates Degree in Education or Related Field Bachelor's Degree in Education or Related Field
