Role Overview
As the Porter, youâ??ll have a big mission. If you choose to accept it, your mission will be to maintain the property and the apartments in a clean and safe manner according to the company policies and procedures. This position ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the Companyâ??s established standards and any applicable laws. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as â??whatâ?? is done here at B.HOM!

Key Responsibilities
Maintain an excellent customer service relationship by adhering to the CEV Standards
Work with maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
Inspect exterior grounds and buildings, including breezeways daily
Pick up trash on grounds
Run trash compactor daily, including weekends as scheduled
Clean mailbox area daily
Water flowers, plants and shrubs as needed
Perform swimming pool maintenance/cleaning as needed
Maintain accurate swimming pool chemical records, according to state and local requirements
Pick up trash, straighten and wipe down furniture in pool area
Assist in the daily upkeep and cleanliness of office, clubhouse and amenity areas
Responsible for maximizing curb appeal
Check and replace light bulbs as needed
Maintain painting of curbs and speed bumps
Sweep, blow and or pressure wash breeze ways, parking lots and common areas
Keep storm drains free of debris
Deliver and/or post correspondence, newsletters and flyers
Assist in the performance of turn events
Trash out vacant units
Other duties as assigned

You Have
Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement
Position requires employee to be able to use general cleaning equipment and tools included but not limited to: hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers and hoses
A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours is a plus)

Physical Requirements/Environment: The physical requirements described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Full range of motion with upper and lower body. Continual movement including, but not limited to:Â standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs.
Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation.
Push or pull items and reaching overhead.
Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable.
Exposure to all weather conditions.
