Front-End Assistant Manager

Just Food Co-op in Northfield, MN is looking to hire a Full-time Front-End Assistant Manager to assist the Front-End Manager in overseeing the operations of the front-end department and staff. This grocery store position earns a competitive wage of $20.00 an hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE FRONT-END ASSISTANT MANAGER

As an assistant manager, you are on the front lines, interacting directly with our customers and supporting your staff. You will ensure smooth operations of the Front-End cashiers with the support of the Front-End Shift Supervisors. You will assist the Front-End Manager in setting accuracy and labor goals for the department. You will assist in scheduling, hiring, training, and evaluating front-end staff. The Front-End department is the first people our guests see when they come into the store and the last people they see when they leave, so you will encourage your staff to greet each customer and thank them for their visit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-year experience in leading shifts or supervising others (required)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle cash with accuracy.
