Position Summary:
Prepare metal parts and operate automated barrel plating equipment for various plating types.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under direct supervision
Review work orders, blueprints/drawings and specifications
Prepare metal parts before plating
Operate barrel plating and deburring equipment
Inspect parts, measure plating thickness, and document results
Maintain cleaning solutions and daily logs
Keep work area clean and organized
Assist with handling hazardous waste
Follow all safety protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/plating environment
Basic math skills
Physical Demands:
Occasionally help move drums (up to 400 lbs with equipment/team)
Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
