Board certified or board eligible
California license (no other states accepted)
BLS
DEA
California fluoroscopy license
Completed residency
Clean malpractice history preferred

Required Procedures/Skills
Lumbar punctures
Barium studies
Centesis exams with drain placements
CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies
IR procedures: thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, suprapubic catheters
Biopsies: thyroid, lung, other

Assignment Details
Expected daily volume: 50 studies/day + 4 6 procedures/day
CTs: /day
X-rays: /day
Ultrasounds: 8 12/day
ED volume: patients/day
Average inpatient/observation census: 50 (includes ICU and OB)
IR workload is mostly non-complex and percutaneous
Support staff includes diagnostic imaging nurses and techs; large local radiology group assists with overflow and after-hours reads
Setting: general acute care hospital (stroke certified; not chest pain center accredited; no trauma designation)
EMR: Cerner
