As a Photography Intern you will be responsible for photographing new and exciting product, maintaining imagery consistency and photo studio standards, facilitating file transfers and storage. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be exposed to working with DSLR cameras, strobe studio lighting, graphic design, editing, retouching, and color correction. This role presents a valuable introduction to the photography & retail marketing industry.

Responsibilities: Responsible for aiding Photographer in meeting imagery expectations Help to maintain the photography studio and relevant equipment Facilitate file transfers between marketing and remote freelancers Follow all editing and file processing procedures, including file naming and organization Maintain marketing product samples, reception and storage Work in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Bridge, CameraRAW, and Photoshop Work in Canva with imagery and copy Work in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Light and photograph product packaging and componentry Edit imagery for consistency, clarity, and color accuracy Retouching and clipping in Photoshop, as needed Develop an understanding of our file server and image library Assist in photo shoots as needed
Key Competencies: Ability to learn new tasks quickly. Self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining task oriented. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work within a team environment and independently complete projects. Adapts easily to change.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma, College Diploma or University Degree preferred (Business or Marketing) Strong Photography skills, especially in Adobe Photoshop
Nice to Haves: Prior working photography experience, with confidence in lighting techniques and Adobe programs Experience working in graphic design, social media, retail photography and marketing
