About the Role Canopie is seeking licensed, compassionate professionals to join our team as Perinatal Coaches for Florida residents. Coaches will deliver individualized support to expecting and new mothers through brief onboarding calls and one-on-one virtual coaching sessions focused on mental wellness and perinatal health promotion. Key Responsibilities Conduct brief onboarding calls (typically Deliver individualized, virtual coaching sessions focused on stress management, mood support, health behavior change, and preparation for postpartum Develop and adjust coaching plans in collaboration with the member based on their risk profile, goals, and engagement Use structured, evidence-informed scripts and coaching protocols provided by Canopie Identify when members require care escalation and coordinate with the Canopie team for referrals to behavioral health providers or emergency support Document all member interactions and assessments in the Canopie platform within one business day Communicate with members through phone, video, and secure in-app messaging Requirements Qualifications Required: Active license in a relevant clinical field (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, RN, APRN, CNM) Willingness to complete a standard background screening as part of onboarding Warm and compassionate tone and approach, strong commitment to evidence-based practices and quality, flexibility, humility, and curiosity Preferred: Certification in perinatal mental health (e.g., PMH-C, MMH-C) or substantial experience supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals At least 4 years of experience in clinical care, health coaching, or counseling, minimum 2 years working with perinatal individuals Strong digital literacy and comfort using telehealth and app-based tools Culturally responsive, empathetic, and skilled at building rapport quickly Comfortable following structured coaching models and clinical protocols Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Schedule & Commitment Start date in June/July Flexible schedule with availability for coaching sessions and onboarding calls during business hours, as well as some evening and weekend availability, Commitment of 10–20 hours/week (may vary based on needs) Timely documentation and follow-up communication are required Benefits Rates that are at or above market for Florida clinicians in designated field For those making a long-term commitment to Canopie, we will pay for you to obtain a MMH certificate or perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C) Regular team support through clinical training, peer consultation, and ongoing education Access to curated perinatal mental health content and coaching tools Early opportunity to shape a growing digital maternal mental health program Mission-driven work with a focus on health equity and culturally grounded care
