Job Responsibilities: Implement physician orders and administer medications, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively. Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to care provided. Demonstrate excellent nursing judgment in patient care management. Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administer both over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered by physicians. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients. Guide ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree). Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred. Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills. Knowledge of quality concepts and the ability to apply problem-solving techniques to improve patient care quality.
