Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Salary: $30-$40 Hourly The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist provides high-quality, client-centered therapy services to support the communication, speech, and language development needs of children. This role involves assessment, intervention, and collaboration with families to achieve therapeutic goals. The therapist is expected to comply with company policies regarding documentation, supervision of assistants, and professional development, contributing to the companies mission of creating a fun and engaging environment for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and Intervention Conduct evaluations using standardized testing protocols to assess speech, language, and communication skills. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs specific goals. Monitor progress and adjust therapy interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
Supervision and Collaboration Supervise and provide guidance to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers to support therapeutic outcomes. Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
Documentation and Compliance Complete notes and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to company policy and regulatory requirements. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Professional Development Stay informed about advancements in speech-language pathology and pediatric interventions. Pursue opportunities for continuous learning and improvement. Actively participate in company-provided training and educational programs.
Quality Assurance Adhere to best practices and evidence-based approaches in therapy delivery. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Additional Duties Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the companies objectives.
Qualifications Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the applicable state(s). Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred. Familiarity with standardized testing protocols and developmental communication milestones. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
