About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Home Occupational Therapist with a focus on pediatrics to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children in the comfort of their homes. You will play a vital role in helping children develop essential skills, achieve developmental milestones, and reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's needs, developmental delays, and functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and promote age-appropriate development. Utilize play-based therapy, sensory integration techniques, and other evidence-based approaches to engage children in the therapeutic process. Evaluate therapy outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal results. Educate and engage parents and caregivers in the treatment process, providing them with strategies and resources to support their child's development at home. Collaborate effectively with Speech and Physical Therapists, early intervention specialists, and other members of the child's care team to deliver integrated and holistic care. Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy treatment practices, ensuring children receive the highest quality of care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions. Qualifications: Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Valid and current state license in Occupational Therapy. Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and child engagement skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience working with diverse pediatric populations, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate assessment tools.
