About the Role: The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during shifts. Working closely with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care, ensuring compliance with established policies and enhancing overall patient experience. Your Responsibilities: Facilitate smooth admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient care. Assess and improve the quality of patient care services in collaboration with the management team. Foster a teamwork environment that enhances patient outcomes and service delivery. Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when required. Implement nursing strategies like employee rounding and hourly rounds to boost engagement. Assist with the hiring, training, and evaluation of new nursing staff. Manage staff scheduling and labor needs according to patient care requirements. Oversee inventory control and management of medical supplies. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required. PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required. Registered Nurse license in Texas (Compact license accepted). Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire/transfer. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience necessary.
