We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations for a multi-state organization based near Bedford, Ohio. This role requires a highly organized individual who can expertly manage complex payroll processes for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. This is a direct hire position with standard fulltime in office hours. They are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience with full process payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for employees across multiple locations and states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify and approve hourly timecards submitted by supervisors and managers before processing payroll.
- Input payroll data into the system, ensuring all employee information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Handle payroll adjustments, including garnishments, child support, and payroll taxes, in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct research to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure proper processing.
- Oversee weekly payroll for hourly employees and bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees, depending on location-specific requirements.
- Ensure employees are properly set up in the payroll system and paid on time.
- Collaborate with management to address payroll-related inquiries and provide support.
- Monitor and review payroll reports to identify and correct errors.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll records and employee information.

Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for organizations with 100-500 employees.
- Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations, including compliance with varying state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with handling garnishments, child support, and payroll tax deductions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Proficient in managing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with managers and employees.
