Volt is hiring for Patient Service Representative  in Syracuse, NY .
As a  Patient Service Representative  you will: Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and call triage across multiple clinic locations. Prepare, file, and maintain patient charts and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality. Verify insurance eligibility, obtain referrals/authorizations, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements. Handle patient inquiries, release forms, and send appointment updates and no-show letters. Update patient databases, prepare chart labels, and assist with standard form letters and record maintenance.
This is a  full-time   temp-to-hire  opportunity, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
The ideal candidate will have : High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Pay Rate : $14.20 - $21.63 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
