Patient And Equipment Transporter

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

  • Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 40 hours a week: Wednesday-Sunday 8am-4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.
  • Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
  • Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.
  • Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
