Job Summary
The Student Communications Intern will work with the Creative Director and team to create engaging, effective, audience-specific content for various channels and purposes.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Writes feature stories, announcements, news releases, and social posts.
Works on special projects and helps brainstorm ideas to reach various audiences.
Works in close collaboration with Campus Auxiliaries Marketing team, particularly its interns, toward a shared vision.
Qualifications

EDUCATION
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
Proven writing and social media experience
Experience or strong interest in graphic design and shooting/editing photos and videos
SKILLS
Required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Customer-service oriented
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. This role requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
Must be available for popup events and shoots.

Advertised Salary
$12.25 per hour
Work Hours
10-12 hours per week
We work around your class schedule.
