Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will apply the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide tailored nursing care for residents. The RN will collaborate with residents, families, and clinical colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and assess care. The RN will demonstrate expertise across all areas of nursing practice, ensuring compliance with appropriate age and population-specific standards in their clinical setting. Responsibilities include resident care across various phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as care coordination and education. The RN may take on the role of charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring that care meets resident needs safely and reliably. The RN will operate within the nursing practice frameworks and uphold ethical standards as outlined by relevant nursing authorities. Qualifications We prefer candidates who have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program, such as those accredited by the CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA. A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred. Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing where they practice, or multistate licensure if within a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Candidates must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
