Join the Greater Sacramento Urban League (GSUL) at our allcove™ center-a welcoming, youth-friendly space serving young people ages 12 to 25. allcove™ provides integrated services to support mild to moderate mental health needs, physical health, substance use concerns, and education/employment goals. Our work is guided by a Youth Advisory Group and rooted in the culture and experiences of the communities we serve.
We are seeking a Part-Time Clinician to provide on-site, short-term mental health services at our center. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact by delivering youth-centered, culturally responsive care in a dynamic and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities: Provide Individual and Group Counseling to youth ages 12–25 with mild to moderate mental health needs.
Conduct Assessments and develop care plans aligned with best practices and youth goals.
Maintain Accurate Clinical Records in accordance with agency protocols and compliance standards.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team, including Youth Peer Mentors and community partners, to ensure holistic support.
Support Crisis Interventions when necessary and make referrals to higher levels of care as appropriate.
Participate in Clinical Meetings and Case Consultations to support service integration and quality.
Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure: Active license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. (Associate-level licensure not accepted for this role.)
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and/or transitional-age youth.
Skills: Strong skills in assessment, care planning, clinical documentation, and providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
Preferred: Experience with short-term models, group facilitation, or working in a community-based or youth-friendly setting.
