$22.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY You will be responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of containers at various customer locations. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can provide safe and efficient service while maintaining positive relationships with our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely drive and operate a commercial truck with a specialized lift mechanism to load and unload containers. Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift equipment. Adapt to add-on deliveries to meet the changing needs of the business. Utilize company handheld devices for delivery verification and navigation. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed. Ensure containers are clean and presentable for our customers. Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and concerns. Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. Assist with storage center operations as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the truck cab. Complete other assigned duties as necessary. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports to Management; direct supervisors may include Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position does not hold direct management responsibilities over other employees. PAY RANGE: $22.00 per hour GENERAL BENEFITS: Safety bonuses are available for driver positions. Boot vouchers and uniforms provided. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent experience. Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction. Must have and maintain a current valid driver license. Compliance with PODS Driver Qualification Standards is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements. Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain at least a 1-year certification required (DOT compliance). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for job functions. Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be considered.
