Conducting legal research and analysis on a variety of real estate-related issues Drafting legal documents, including contracts, lease agreements, and eviction notices Assisting with the preparation of legal briefs, affidavits, and other legal documents for court filings Organizing and maintaining legal files and documents Coordinating with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as needed Keeping track of important deadlines and ensuring all legal matters are handled in a timely manner Assisting with the review and negotiation of contracts and other legal agreements Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations in the real estate industry Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with a focus on real estate Strong knowledge of legal research methods and sources Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment A proactive and detail-oriented mindset Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and property management regulations is a plus At R.E.M Residential, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with respect and have equal opportunities for growth and development.
