Location: Lawrence Day School, Lawrenceville, NJ Position Type: Full-Time, School Year (10-month position) Start Date: September 2025 Hours: 7:30am - 3:00pm

Lawrence Day School is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team as part of the Preschool Expansion Aid (PEA) Program , a New Jersey state-funded initiative focused on providing high-quality, full-day preschool education to three- and four-year-old children. Lawrence Day School has joined in the PEA Program in collaboration with the Lawrence Township Public Schools.

Duties

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards along with Tools of the Mind Curriculum Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Conduct assessments and maintain student progress records Collaborate with teaching assistants, school leadership, and families Participate in ongoing professional development and trainings

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Required) NJ P-3 Certification (Required) or CE/CEAS in process Experience working with preschool-aged children Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom
