Our rehabilitation services and professional staff provide the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities.
Outpatient Clinician
The Outpatient Clinician is a post-masters experienced mental health professional responsible for providing culturally responsive, evidenced-based individual, group and/or family based clinical interventions in an evolving adult outpatient clinic. The OC must be well versed in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidenced-based clinical interventions to provide trauma informed and culturally sensitive treatment. The OC must demonstrate ability in the design, implementation, measurement and tracking of evidence-based interventions and protocols through documentation and chart maintenance. The Outpatient Clinician will further demonstrate clinical competency based on the ability to manage time effectively, engage and maintain a culturally diverse member population, and maintain treatment satisfaction scores. Competencies will be maintained and supervised through live/video, individual and/or group supervision with the Director of Outpatient.
Salary:
$50,000 to $60,000 commensurate with experience and licensure/eligibility, plus a comprehensive benefits package
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm

Primary location- Media, PA
Secondary location- Norristown, PA
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake and comprehensive assessments of clients.
• Submit completed intake packets with initial treatment plan and bio-psychosocial assessment and formulation within assigned time frame.
• Provide individual, group and/or family-based therapy for all assigned cases in accordance with treatment plan;
• Develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for assigned caseload to include clear goals and interventions that are measured, monitored and tracked during each member session.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans as directed by healthcare plan requirements to be completed within the session during which members actively participate in its development
• Maintain accurate, timely and detailed documentation of client sessions, progress and treatment plans;
• Provide comprehensive progress notes after each member encounters that tracks interventions according to agency protocol, clinical best practice and recovery/treatment plan goals.
• Provide education to clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options and coping strategies;
• Collaborate with other professionals, service providers and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in supervision, case conferences and team meetings as scheduled by the Director of Outpatient
• Meet all training requirements of agency and regulatory bodies.
• Participate in the training, development and supervision of student interns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in providing behavioral health services preferred.
• LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist License/License Eligible
Knowledge & Skills:
• Knowledge of Evidenced-based treatments and interventions.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent writing, listening and communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Thorough understanding of clinical best practices for a broad range of DSM V diagnoses
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record
