Job Summary
As a member of a Service Desk team, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. You will serve as the first point of contact for AEP employees and contractors seeking technical assistance.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
* Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or chat in a timely manner.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
* Document all interactions and resolutions in the service desk ticketing system.
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
* Provide guidance and training to end-users on software and hardware usage.
* Monitor and follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution.
* Assist in maintaining knowledge base articles and FAQs for common issues.
* Participate in service improvement initiatives and contribute to team goals.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 8 years' technical or relevant work experience is required.

* Strong customer service experience
* Ability to work second shift a plus (We are hiring for first and second shifts)

$40.90-51.13 USD
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S - Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
