The Waunakee, WI location plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, traceable agricultural products—and they’re looking for an experienced leader to help drive operations forward. As Operations Manager , you will oversee all day-to-day grain elevator operations , leading a team and ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. You’ll be hands-on in everything from grain handling and logistics coordination to team development and compliance management. Key Responsibilities:

Manage grain inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory control

Oversee facility maintenance and implement preventative programs

Lead, train, and support a high-performing operations team

Drive cost-efficiency through smart resource and process management

Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations

Monitor grain quality, space usage, and blending opportunities

Maintain security and energy-saving procedures

Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and service providers

Communicate regularly with regional and corporate leadership

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a grain elevator or terminal environment

Strong knowledge of grain handling operations and logistics

Demonstrated ability to manage safety programs and operational teams

Mechanical aptitude and experience overseeing maintenance programs

Wheat operations experience is a plus, but not required

Willingness to work in a physically demanding, outdoor setting
