Gift Shop And Bloom At Overlook Medical Center Per Diem Office Assistant The Gift Shop and Bloom at Overlook Medical Center is seeking a personable, customer focused Per Diem Office Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for patients, families, team members, and visitors by assisting with the sale of gifts, flowers, and other retail items in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities include: Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons. Operate cash register and complete sales transactions accurately. Assist with restocking merchandise, inventory management, and maintaining a visually appealing store layout. Take and fulfill orders for floral arrangements and gift deliveries within the hospital. Collaborate with hospital team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to patients and departments. Follow all hospital and retail protocols, including cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality standards. Work flexible shifts as needed. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Experience with POS system is a plus. Passion for helping others and creating a positive environment in a healthcare setting.
