Salary: 155+ Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to perform CPSE evaluations for preschool-aged children. The OT Evaluator will assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional performance to help determine eligibility for special education services and develop appropriate service recommendations. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for children ages 35 as part of the CPSE process. Administer and interpret standardized assessments (e.g., Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, BOT-2, Sensory Profile) and informal functional observations. Evaluate areas such as fine motor coordination, sensory processing, self-care, and motor planning.
Write detailed, clinically-sound evaluation reports.
Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York State (or applicable state licensure). Experience with pediatric populations, particularly preschool-aged children. Familiarity with CPSE processes preferred. Strong knowledge of child development and pediatric assessment tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to homes, childcare centers, or agency locations for evaluations. Compensation & Schedule Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on your availability.
