Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license (CCA OT License required)
  • Prior experience in a school-based OT role preferred
  • Strong understanding of sensory integration, assistive technology, and motor development
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies for students with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting educational goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students as indicated by IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility and placement meetings
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer training and resources to staff and caregivers on strategies for classroom success
  • Adapt therapeutic activities to various school settings as assigned
