UCHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care team within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide evidence‑based, patient‑centered occupational therapy services to adults with complex medical and surgical conditions in a fast‑paced hospital setting. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, identify functional deficits, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ safety, independence, and quality of life in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and self‑care. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and case managers, you will contribute to discharge planning and make recommendations for equipment, continued therapy needs, and appropriate levels of post‑acute care.As part of UCHealth, a Colorado‑based, nonprofit health care system, you will practice in an environment that emphasizes innovative, high‑quality care, diversity, and inclusion. You will document all assessments, goals, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record in accordance with hospital, state, and federal standards and participate in quality and process‑improvement initiatives that support continuous improvement.
