We're currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Lakeland, FL 33805
A lovely family seeks an occasional sitter for their 2 month old for an immediate start. Backup care is typically needed 2-4 times per month to allow mom time to run errands and take care of tasks around the house. Care is needed on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays between the hours of 6:30am and 4:30pm. The baby is calm, enjoys being read to, and is beginning to show curiosity about their surroundings-following movement with their eyes and engaging more each day. Mom may occasionally be present during care hours. Applicants do not need to be available for every requested date, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. The ideal candidate will be experienced with infants, gentle, attentive, and confident in caring for a young baby.

Responsibilities:
- Bottle feeding
- Diaper changing
- Engaging with the baby in age-appropriate activities
- Facilitating nap times
- Following baby's schedule + logging updates via app
- Tidying areas related to the baby
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references
- Able to successfully pass a background and social media screening
Compensation:
This position pays $20-$25 per hour, and the family is looking for intermittent care, as needed.
