A rural Kentucky hospital is seeking a

board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN

for

inpatient-only call coverage

on select dates in

July, August, October, and December , with potential for additional ongoing needs. This role involves full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital-based setting. Upcoming Open Dates:

Responsibilities:

Inpatient management of OB/GYN patients

Rounding on inpatients and managing labor & delivery

Responding to antepartum triage and ER consults related to OB/GYN

Performing emergent OB and GYN procedures

Required Procedures:

Labor & vaginal deliveries

C-sections

Management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and maternal hemorrhage

ER consults and treatment

D&Cs, ablations, hysterectomy, and other urgent gynecologic surgeries

Additional Details:

Average 30 deliveries per month

No midwife coverage provider will be

first call

EPIC EMR system

L&D RN support onsite
