About the Professional Licensing Agency:
The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency is seeking an individual to help protect the health and safety of the citizens of Indiana by providing quality, efficient service to all professional licensees, applicants, and the public. The fundamental purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the board director, the licensing board/commissions, and to directly supervise the customer service representatives' projects across a broad scope of career opportunities. As a State of Indiana employee, you impact the well-being of Indiana's communities every day.

Role Overview:

The purpose of the position is to serve as the liaison for all pre-licensure schools of nursing in the State of Indiana. The incumbent will conduct all site visits, serve as the education contact for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing ("NCSBN"), and will review all annual reports from pre-licensure schools of nursing. This position is based in Indianapolis. This position also involves travel to nursing educational programs throughout the state.

Salary Statement:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

Related certifications and coursework may be considered for education or experience.

Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with agency staff, the medical community, various governmental agencies, other stakeholders.

This role may provide direct supervision for one or more staff members.
