Job Specifics Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301 Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available Work Schedule: Overnight and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will adhere to a modified block schedule based on availability, with shifts occurring every other weekend or every third weekend. Unit Description: Our Ortho/Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. Orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders. Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually. Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections. Our medical team specializes in caring for orthopedic and neurologic patients, managing all fractures that present to the hospital, as well as surgical site infections and other postoperative complications. You will perform refrigerator checks, phlebotomy, and EKGs, ensuring age-appropriate care and service. Your commitment to reliable, predictable outcomes and minimizing needless waits is essential. Proficiency in using Information Systems to their full capability is required. Duties may vary by department.

Qualifications: Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
