Responsibilities of the Nurse Supervisor (RN)Lead clinical team during shift, providing guidance and instruction as neededAssist with scheduling LPNs and RNsInterface with staff and other team membersAssist with admissionsEnsure that necessary updates, reports and audits are completed in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure compliance with nursing and government policies and proceduresInform patients' family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructionsProvide psychological and emotional support to patients and their family and friendsRequirementsof the Nurse Supervisor (RN):Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in the State of IllinoisAt least three years' nursing experience, primarily in skilled nursingSupervisory or charge experience in a SNFNursing experience in a long term care skilled facilityKnowledge of the admissions processStrong documentation and auditing capabilitiesLeadership and relationship building skillsCompassion, tolerance and understanding of older adultsGenerations at Oakton Pavillion is a beautiful rehabilitation and skilled nursing community providing world class healthcare and concierge-like services for seniors.
