Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiology Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, flexible Employment Type: Staff We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic inpatient cardiology team. This role involves rotating coverage among providers and independently managing patient care for acute cardiac conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: • Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients with a range of cardiac conditions. • Round on inpatient cardiology patients and manage consults for acute presentations such as chest pain and atrial fibrillation. • Provide patient and staff education, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and participate in research as appropriate. • Document all clinical care and communications accurately and efficiently using Epic. Must Haves: • Active NP or PA or APN (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) • ACLS/BLS • 3+ years of experience in inpatient cardiology (OR experience in critical care OR Cath lab with demonstrated hands-on expertise in managing cardiology-related conditions • Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems.
