Under the direct supervision of an RN; Responsible for providing quality care and monitoring of patients. Maintains safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors; maintains properly functioning equipment and availability of equipment, supplies and drugs.
Assists physicians; informs physicians of relevant information; provides support to families.
Participates in an assistance capacity to RN, but cannot perform the functions of assessment and evaluation in their entirety.
The position of Student Nurse Technician will only be available up to six months from the date of graduation.
Qualifications:
Transcripts or verification from appropriate college indicating school status or copy of diploma required.
Must meet one of the following requirements:
RN student entering final semester of a three-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
RN student entering senior year of a four- year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
RN student entering final seven months of a 15-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
RN student entering final semester of content for an Associate Degree RN Program
