Job Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales campaigns, strategies, and programs to maximize revenue and meet dealership objectives Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to forecast sales, identify opportunities, and provide regular reports to management Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, handle complaints, and ensure high standards for customer service Inventory Management: Review and manage vehicle inventory to ensure an optimal mix of models, colors, and equipment for maximum turnover and profitability Financial Oversight: Analyze and control sales department expenditures, manage commission records, and contribute to the dealership's overall profitability Marketing & Advertising: Collaborate with other managers on marketing efforts and advertising campaigns to promote dealership offerings and attract new customers Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the sales department and other departments, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with dealership vision Qualifications Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations. High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in the automotive industry Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management Proven and past success in a leadership role Proven track record of meeting sales targets Proficiency in financial management and budgeting Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to analyze and interpret performance data and market trends
