About Locum Neurologist Jobs: This is a generalized description of locum neurologist job requirements. Specific assignment details may vary based on the healthcare facility, geographic location, patient population and types of neurological services provided. General Job Responsibilities:
* Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases and multiple sclerosis. * Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs and lumbar punctures. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. * Provide emergency care and manage critical situations effectively. * Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Minimum Education Requirements:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. * Residency training program in neurology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). * Fellowship in in a subspecialty of neurology may be required.
License & Certifications:
* Board certification in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP). * Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
Experience:
