: The Senior .NET/C# Developer (Backend API SME), with 6-10 years of relevant experience, will serve as a hands-on lead developer in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is part of the Online Security Technologies team, tasked with designing, developing, and supporting a mission-critical authentication platform. Responsibilities are split between 50% design and 50% development, requiring expertise in coding and system design. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of skilled engineers to ensure high-quality software releases are delivered on time. This position is ideal for a hands-on developer with a deep understanding of backend APIs and a proven track record of leading development efforts in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead solution development and delivery for software products to QA, UAT, and production environments. Promote Agile software development practices within the team. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders across Project Management, Business, QA, and Technology Operations for timely and cost-effective project delivery. Provide development sizing and cost analysis estimates in coordination with the Scrum Master and product owner. Participate in story decomposition, feature design, and task prioritization with the team. Leverage automated software testing tools and frameworks to meet quality standards, including test-driven development. Support Single Sign-On (SSO) integration efforts for internal and external systems. Assist the release manager in assembling releases and improving release processes. Address team roadblocks in collaboration with the Scrum Master. Coordinate team deliverables to achieve product releases. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation strategies. Conduct code quality reviews and mentoring sessions with onshore and offshore developers. Prototype and develop specific application solutions to meet business requirements. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Proficiency in building server-side applications using C# and .NET technologies. Expertise in developing and managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs. Solution design and implementation experience for high-availability, high-throughput, and highly scalable applications. Strong knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, and development standards. Hands-on experience with Kafka, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with SAML and OAuth solutions (preferred). Minimum of 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in team leadership roles. Experience in object-oriented analysis, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and developing secure user authentication systems. Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for scalable and efficient software solutions. Self-motivated, creative, and capable of working in a time-critical environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
