Responsibilities

• Consultative sales approach using a high level of knowledge of product features and benefits

• Consultative sales approach using a high level of industry trends and best practices

• Interpret and translate client needs

• Identify and convert prospective clients

• Build and maintain good relationships with existing clients

• Read/interpret architectural plans/drawings

• Read/interpret shop drawings

• Knowledge of the construction bid process (including takeoff’s/BOM’s for estimating)

• Meet monthly KPI’s

• Find new target segments

• Research and be knowledgeable on competitive offerings

• Work closely with marketing, project managers, product design and production

• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and it’s impact on the company’s success

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in sales

• Business travel required

• Excellent listener

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Critical thinker and problem solver

• Attention to detail

• Good time-management skills

• Team player

• Proficient in MS Office

• BA degree in marketing or related field a plus
