MRI Technologist - ARRT-MR required

FlexStaff is seeking an MRI Technologist for our client, located in Massapequa. This is a direct-hire, full-time position. Schedule will vary and candidates must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare and educate patients on the MRI process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to discuss imaging findings.
Ensure all MRI equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or issues immediately.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the medical records system.
Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices in medical imaging.
Qualifications
Valid certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited institution.
ARRT registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required
Minimum of six (6) months experience as a Radiology Technologist, required. Previous MRI experience, Required.
Proven experience in medical imaging and MRI procedures.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $50-$52/hour
