Oxenade Motors is hiring a full-time Mobile Mechanic / Roadside Technician to join our growing team. This is a field-based role for experienced, motivated techs who want independence, structure, and real earning potential. Youll respond to breakdowns, perform on-site repairs, and deliver dealership-level service to customers across Broward and Palm Beach County.

We provide the fully equipped service truck and access to all professional diagnostic data and repair information you bring your own tools and the expertise.

Position Summary

This role puts you in control of the jobsite. Whether youre diagnosing a no-start in a driveway or replacing a belt on a work truck, youll be the face of Oxenade Motors in the field. Our mobile division is built for skilled professionals who take pride in getting it right the first time and want to work without shop politics.

Primary Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to perform diagnostics and on-site repairs Handle common mobile repairs: batteries, starters, alternators, brakes, belts, A/C issues, and more Diagnose drivability issues, no-start conditions, and minor electrical faults Document all findings and completed work in our system Maintain communication with dispatch and notify of job status or follow-up needs Operate the service truck safely and keep it clean and stocked Represent the Oxenade Motors brand with professionalism and reliability

Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience Proven diagnostic skills with scan tools (Autel, Snap-On, etc.) Must be able to work independently in the field Valid Florida drivers license and clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions Must provide your own professional-grade tools

Preferred Experience ASE certification(s) Experience with light diesel vehicles (Ford, Ram, GM) Prior experience in mobile repair or fleet service Familiarity with mobile dispatching systems and digital inspection tools
