Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy independently and in compliance with your state licensure and board requirements.
  • Utilize SonderMind’s AI-powered tools to streamline documentation, client engagement, and care planning.
  • Onboard existing clients and welcome new referrals through the platform; collaborate with a dedicated account manager to grow your practice across specialties.
  • Participate in goal setting, treatment planning, and ongoing assessment with clients.
  • Maintain ethical, relationship-driven care and collaborate with clients to optimize outcomes while reducing administrative burden.

Requirements

  • Masters degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Must be fully licensed by the State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LISW, or LP).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $90-$114 per hour. Pay rates are based on the provider license type, session location, and session types.
  • Flexibility to set your own working hours; sessions can be conducted via telehealth or in-person.
  • Free and stress-free credentialing with major insurers: SonderMind handles credentialing so you can expand your practice quickly.
  • Guaranteed pay: SonderMind handles billing and guarantees pay bi-weekly for completed sessions (including no-shows).
  • Referrals and practice support: onboarding of existing clients plus new referrals with client matching and an account manager to support growth.
  • No fees or membership charges: all features, access, tools, and resources are provided at no extra cost.
  • Innovative AI-powered tools: AI Notes, Session Takeaways, Session Prep, Goal Setting, Treatment Plan, and Reflections to support clinicians and clients between sessions.

Please note that SonderMind does not provide office space; therapists are responsible for securing their own location for in-person sessions, but we can help connect you with other SonderMind therapists to share space.
