Reports To: Health & Wellness Supervisor We're looking for a dependable and organized Medical Clerk to support our Health & Wellness team at Job Corps. In this role, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting both staff and students in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Job Corps is a federally funded program that helps young people ages 1624 gain the education and career skills they need to succeed. As part of our team, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting student wellness and overall success. Summary of Duties
As a Medical Clerk, you'll be the go-to support for administrative and coordination tasks within the Health & Wellness department. Your day may include: Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to emails in a friendly and professional way Scheduling appointments and helping coordinate daily activities Keeping records organizedboth electronic and paper files Preparing reports, documents, and meeting materials Entering and reviewing data to ensure accuracy Supporting communication within the department and across the center Assisting with ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and managing basic budget items Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace Coordinating repairs or work orders when needed Supporting special projects and research as assigned Key Areas of Responsibilities
We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping others. You'll do well in this role if you: Have strong communication and customer service skills Are comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Office and basic systems Can stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once Work well with a variety of people, including staff, students, and community partners Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Pay close attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalency.
